Y Goron is a spacious two-storey family apartment located on an upper floor in Cardigan Castle house , offering delightful views of the River Teifi on one side and the peaceful grounds of Cardigan Castle on the other.

Cardigan Castle holds a special place in Welsh history—it’s thought to be the first stone castle built by a Welshman. In 1176, Lord Rhys ap Gruffydd threw a legendary celebration to mark its completion, inviting poets, musicians and performers from far and wide. That gathering became the first-ever Eisteddfod, which makes this site both unique and very special.

Y Goron sleeps 4 – 5 in 2 bedrooms. 1 king size and 1 twin. An additional guest can be accommodated in the twin bedroom on a put-up bed.

OUTSIDE
Guests can have free access to the 2-acre grounds of Cardigan Castle. It is possible to offload outside the property. Parking is available at nearby paid public car parks
