We were pleased to be shortlisted for Family Business of the Year 2023 at the Federation of Small Business Awards.
The Awards ceremony was a great event, and it was lovely to connect with other small businesses from across Wales.
Business Growth Wales Awards 2023
In March 2023 we were delighted to win two awards at the Business Growth Wales Awards!
The first for Customer Service Excellence and the second for Business Service Excellence.
Both of these categories are so important to us: as a small team whose happy customers and property owners are our main focus every day. Both categories were judged by mystery shoppers, who apparently couldn’t find fault with any of our service!
Welsh Business Awards 2019
We were absolutely delighted to win the award for Excellence in Marketing and Communications at the Welsh Business Awards in March 2019. It means so much to us as a small team to be recognised for our work. It was a fabulous evening in Cardiff’s City Hall and we enjoyed meeting other business owners from across Wales.

In January 2019, we enjoyed a lovely evening at the Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli for the West Wales Business Awards. We were so pleased to receive the Highly Commended award in the Tourism and Leisure category.
Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards
In April 2018 we were delighted to be announced as the winner of the gold award for Best Impact Marketing Campaign in the biennial Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards.
British Travel Awards 2014
Thanks to votes from our customers, we were awarded Silver in the category for Best Medium Villa/Self Catering Holiday Booking Company in the 2014 British Travel Awards.
Our customers’ support for us in the 2014 British Travel Awards also brought us the Bronze Award for Best UK Medium Holiday Cottage Booking Company. We were honoured that so many took the trouble to support for our company in these national awards. Thank you to everyone who voted.
British Travel Awards 2013
In October 2013, we were honoured to be declared a top 3 finalist in two categories in the British Travel Awards, Best Medium UK Cottage/Self Catering Booking Company and Best Medium Villa/Self Catering Booking Company. In 2013 more than one million votes were cast by consumers to determine the winners, making it the largest awards programme in the UK. British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said, “The travelling public regard the British Travel Awards winners logo as the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really are the best travel companies and West Wales Holiday Cottages is to be congratulated on their achievement in an awards programme which garners the opinions of the nation”.
Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards
In April 2013, we were proud to be awarded the Silver Award for Best Supplier in the biennial Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards, as a result of praise for our service from our cottage owners. Thank you!
Carmarthenshire Tourism
In November 2011, Carmarthenshire Tourism chose West Wales Holiday Cottages as the Silver Award winner for the Supplier Business of the Year at their biennial awards ceremony. We were chuffed!
