The Stables at Blaenannerch on Cardigan Bay is in a perfect location combining close proximity to the nearby beaches and coastline with the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. It is part of Cryngae Mawr, a beautiful old former farm and working mill nestling amongst 13 acres of lush green pastures at the end of its own private lane. The upper floor was the original hayloft, and the cottage features exposed stone walls, wooden floors, beamed ceilings, and antique furniture, with the upstairs dormer windows overlooking fields and the village.
Relax as you soak up the sun in the peaceful gardens or enjoy a picnic surrounded by nature, listening to the sound of trickling water from the nearby pond and its waterfall. The Stables is situated only three miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and five miles from the historic town of Cardigan, which has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award-winning restaurants.
The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as coasteering, surfing, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking and is one of the best locations in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife. Go beach hopping from one sandy cove to the next, sampling the delicious refreshments in each little seaside village as you go. Treat the children to a day out at Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, or a dolphin-spotting boat trip from New Quay.
