Special Offers

Rock Cottage is a traditional stone built Welsh cottage offering spacious accommodation for 2 people. Built in the 1880s in the small hamlet of Clegyr Boia for a local quarry worker, it has undergone a complete renovation. Traditional features such as beamed ceilings and stone walls are now complemented by modern comforts.

Ideally situated within the beautiful countryside of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Clegyr Boia is less than a mile from St Davids and the coast. The cottage has wonderful views of the medieval cathedral and the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline.

St Davids is on the far western tip of Wales,  and the property is nearby surrounded by open fields, ancient rock outcrops and sweeping sea air. This tiny hamlet is steeped in history, with traces of prehistoric settlement and a timeless rural atmosphere that makes it feel wonderfully removed from the rush of everyday life.

St Davids itself, Britain’s smallest city, is an easy walk or short drive away. Its magnificent cathedral, Bishop’s Palace ruins, independent shops and relaxed cafés give it a charm all of its own. The area is a haven for artists, walkers and anyone who enjoys slow, scenic exploring. From the city, narrow lanes lead out to the coast, where dramatic cliffs, sheltered coves and wide sandy beaches define the landscape.

Nearby Whitesands Bay is one of Pembrokeshire’s best‑known beaches, popular for surfing, swimming and long shoreline walks. Boat trips run from St Justinians to Ramsey Island, famous for its wildlife, rugged cliffs and thriving seabird colonies. The coast path in this area is particularly spectacular, offering far‑reaching views across St Brides Bay and out towards the Atlantic.

With its peaceful setting, rich history and proximity to both countryside and coast, Rock Cottage offers a wonderfully placed retreat for exploring one of Wales’s most captivating regions.
