Local Facilities

There is a village shop in Llanarth a few minutes’ drive from Gelli Genlas, this opens daily from 7am to 10pm for all essential items and newspapers
There are more food stores in New Quay and Aberaeron. Major supermarkets can be found in Cardigan and Aberystwyth. Asda and Tesco will do a home delivery.
The village pub Llanina Arms does good food; this is a short walk along the main road.
There is a great selection of cafes, restaurants and take-aways within a three-mile radius at New Quay and Aberaeron.

INSIDE

The property is two-storey with one curved staircase to the first floor. Unfortunately, this does not make it suitable for wheelchair users.
The property has some original stone walls and exposed beams on the top floor.
The ground floor has a shower room with toilet and hand basin. On the second floor there is a bathroom and an ensuite, which both have a walk-in shower, WC and hand basins.
The heating will already be active and warm; each radiator has its own thermostat which you can adjust as necessary.
In the utility room there is a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, and clothes airing frame.
The kitchen is very well equipped with the usual array of utensils, pans and serving dishes.
There is an electric oven and grill. Please be careful (and use the oven glove provided) if you are reaching in to take things out
Basic items such as washing up liquid, sponges, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar are available for your use
There is a built-in fridge and freezer in the kitchen, plus a dishwasher and basic items such as a kettle, microwave, and toaster.
The TV room has a large TV which accesses all WiFi channels, ideal for movie night.
There is free full fibre broadband available, the WiFi passcode is in the welcome book.

PRE-ARRIVAL

The nearest train station is Aberystwyth (20 miles from Llanarth), there is a bus service from Aberystwyth (T5 to Cardigan) that stops in Llanarth. Further details of the buses can be found at www.trawscymru.info/t5
Arriving by car, there are 6 private parking spaces to the left of the property. This is a gravelled surface, with a paved path around the property
Please note that access to the property is via a single-track farm lane, which we share with a local farmer – please close property gate after use as livestock are moved along this lane.
Take care when entering and exiting the lane onto the main road, the entrance is on a small bend.

OUTSIDE

The patio is accessed by a small step from the kitchen or the path around the side of the property. There is plenty of outdoor seating, with countryside views.
