Brongwyn Cottage is a delightful detached coastal cottage, sympathetically renovated to retain many original features combined with a fresh contemporary finish. Close to the popular village of New Quay in Ceredigion, the cottage is ideal for a family seeking a seaside holiday or for walkers with the Ceredigion Coast Path right on the doorstep.
A choice of outdoor seating areas provides the perfect spot to relax after a day exploring and enjoy the spectacular views over New Quay Harbour and Cardigan Bay towards the Lleyn Peninsula.
Brongwyn Cottage is just a 5-minute walk away from New Quay with its two sandy beaches, and a good selection of shops, restaurants, takeaways, and pubs. The attractive harbour is the perfect place to enjoy fish and chips or ice cream and watch out for the resident bottlenose dolphins in the bay. Dolphin spotting and fishing trips run regularly during the holiday season. The safe sandy beaches are great for swimming, relaxing, and building sandcastles and are great for water sports enthusiasts. Ceredigion Coast Path passes through New Quay and offers miles of beautiful scenery, dramatic cliffs, seaside villages and a wide variety of wildlife to enjoy.
A short drive will take you to the Georgian town of Aberaeron, with its brightly coloured Georgian buildings and harbour. The village and beaches at Llangrannog and the National Trust beach at Penbryn lie to the south. Cardigan (35 mins) has supermarkets, cafés, pubs, and restaurants. For walkers and cyclists, there is easy access to the unspoiled beauty of the Cambrian Mountains in Ceredigion and the Preseli Hills in North Pembrokeshire.
