Ferryside Beach forms part of the Taff Estuary and it is located on the River Tywi. The golden sands are backed by dunes and is the perfect place to explore the pools for cockles along the shore line and search for sea life.

Ferryside has a service across the River Tywi using a customized Sealegs Amphibious Craft offering 15 minute crossings to Llansteffan. Llansteffan lies on the western side of the River Tywi estuary and is dominated by its stunning castle which stands on a headland overlooking the beautiful beaches and coastline of Carmarthen Bay.
