Llangadog

On the Towy River, half way between Llandeilo and Llandovery. The earthworks of Old Castell Meurig to south of village has modern house within bailey. The Glansevin Estate to the east still has the old corn mill; the mansion is holiday accommodation. Lots of ancient burial mounds and forts in the area, walks of various distances.
