The Stackpole Estate, in the care of the National Trust, occupies a beautiful and varied stretch of coastline, famous for its wonderful sandy beaches and wooded valleys. It includes the freshwater lily ponds at Bosherston with their glorious displays of lilies in summer and their abundance of wildlife, such as wild ducks, otters, and dragonflies. You can walk around these lakes and then on to the secluded Barafundle Beach and further along the coastal path to Stackpole Quay, the tiny harbour with a lovely café. There are more walks to be enjoyed in Stackpole Woods, too.
