Ty Trol is a beautifully renovated former cart house located in a tranquil spot in the heart of the West Wales countryside, just 5 miles from the charming coastal town of Aberaeron, Ceredigion. The cottage also boasts fishing rights on the adjacent lake, making it an ideal retreat for peace and relaxation.

Aberaeron offers several excellent restaurants and cafes, alongside independent shops, and is famous for its unique honey ice cream. Visit the picturesque harbour and enjoy a boat trip to explore Cardigan Bay’s rich marine ecology and stunning Heritage Coast. The nearby Aeron Valley and Ceredigion Heritage Coast provide beautiful scenic drives perfect for exploring.

For those eager to venture further, the 63-mile Ceredigion coastal path showcases breathtaking scenery and the chance to spot dolphins and seals. Explore the vibrant seaside town of Aberystwyth, known as one of the UK’s most lively art centres, or take a nostalgic steam train ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge.

OUTSIDE
Ty Trol has a large enclosed front garden that can be accessed via the front barn door or side French doors, it has a raised patio and decking area with a garden bench, two reclining garden chairs, BBQ, and level lawn. The decking is wrapped around the property and has a roof and outside lighting so it can be used in all weather. Ty Trol also offers a Norwegian wood burning hot tub (Children must be supervised at all times). One bag of logs is included (Additional logs can be purchased locally) There is also access to a partially enclosed rear garden that provides access to the lake for fishing only. *Please note that the lake is owned by the neighbouring property and is located in their garden*. The lake and its surroundings are not an extension of Ty Trol’s garden and guests have access for fishing only. Please ensure children are supervised. There are bird feeders at the front and rear that guests are welcome to fill with seed, nuts and fatballs to attract the wild birds that will visit in abundance. Private parking for 2 cars.
