Ty Beth is an attractive detached stone cottage in the heart of Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire near the popular village of Newport. Set within a small close and offering a large private dog‑friendly garden, the cottage sits just off the narrow lane that winds down to the sandy beaches of Pwllgwaelod and Cwm yr Eglwys, both less than half a mile away and easily reached on foot.
This peaceful corner of north Pembrokeshire lies between Fishguard and Newport, right within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, making it an ideal base for exploring the coastline and surrounding countryside.
From the cottage, exhilarating walks lead around Dinas Head, a dramatic peninsula with sweeping views across Fishguard Bay and Newport Bay. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes close by, offering miles of spectacular cliff‑top walking, hidden coves, seabirds, and ever‑changing sea views. Dinas Cross itself has a couple of very good shops for everyday essentials, as well as three welcoming pubs, including one right beside the sea that serves good food and is perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.
The nearby beaches each have their own charm. Pwllgwaelod is a sheltered bay with calm waters, ideal for swimming and picnics, while Cwm yr Eglwys is known for its peaceful setting and the atmospheric remains of its storm‑damaged church. Both beaches offer a sense of tranquillity and natural beauty that makes this area so special.
Just three miles away, Newport is a pretty Pembrokeshire village with a lively high street filled with restaurants, galleries, independent shops and lovely pubs. The long stretch of Newport Sands is perfect for walking, paddling, kite‑flying and water sports, backed by views of Carn Ingli and the Nevern estuary.

The cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 twin. All the accommodation is on the ground floor with the exception to 3 internal steps so may suit guests with restricted mobility.
