The Stables is a large open plan barn, set in stunning and unspoilt countryside with far reaching views, less than 10 minutes from the spectacular beach at Newgale on Pembrokeshire’s St Bride’s Bay. This beautiful family friendly cottage has a delightful mix of modern comfort and traditional features and is one of a group of five cottages on an old farm, converted from the old farm buildings. As there is a private driveway, the site is free from any passing traffic, making it very safe and secure.

The Stables is only 10 minutes away from the spectacular Pembrokeshire coast and is centrally located for exploring the county. Solva village and its pretty harbour are just over 10 minutes away, the tiny cathedral city of St Davids with its majestic cathedral and a great selection of shops and places to eat is within 20 minutes’ drive, and it’s less than half an hour to Fishguard and Haverfordwest.

Walkers can enjoy miles of beautiful scenery, seaside villages and wonderful wildlife along Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The nearby beaches are popular for surfing, kayaking and coasteering, or just generally messing about. Boat trips to Ramsay Island or Skomer Island are a popular day out and there are plenty of historical sites, castles and museums to visit. Families will love the attractions of Folly Farm, Oakwood and Tenby.


The Stables sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 triple bunk bedroom. Ideal for guests with restricted mobility, there is a ground floor double bedroom plus bathroom. The triple bunk bedroom is also on the ground floor. The barn is fully accessible with level access from the car park. The living area is open-plan. We are keen to lighten the load of parents travelling with young children so we can provide cots, highchairs, stair gates, baby monitors, baby baths etc. If you need anything else, please ask as most requests can normally be accommodated.

Bedroom 2: triple bunk bed (lower double and upper single), wardrobe, chair, chest of drawers
Bathroom: wet room shower, bath, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail
Living area: log burner, large L-shaped sofa, 2-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, digital TV with DVD player and Freeview, music system with iPod docking station
Kitchen/dining area: fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, built-in oven and hob, plastic plates/cutlery for youngster guests

Bedroom 3: double bed, bedside tables, double wardrobe, sofa, chair
Bathroom 2: bath, wash basin, separate shower, WC, heated towel rail


There is a patio to the rear of the property with garden table, seating for 8 and BBQ. Communal lawned area to the front of the barns, with space for kicking a ball around. Extensive children’s play area in a wooded area to the side of the barns which is fully visible from the front of the barns. This is enclosed and safe.
Plenty of parking to the rear of the barns with nominal two spaces allocated to The Stables. Wildlife pond which is fully enclosed and not accessible to our guests for safety reasons.
