The Old Coach House is a charming property nestled in the beautiful Welsh coastal town of Aberaeron. Built in 1850 to provide shelter for horse and carriage, it has just been lovingly restored to offer superb holiday accommodation. Cosy up beside the fire after a day exploring West Wales.
The Old Coach House is also just a few minutes on foot to reach the Welsh coastal path, where you can take a beautifully scenic coastal walk. Located in Aberaeron, you are in the ideal base for exploring the stunning beaches and the beautiful harbour. There are many cafes and restaurants near the harbour, allowing for fantastic views whilst enjoying delicious food. Separated by the harbour, Aberaeron has two public beaches: Aberaeron North and Aberaeron South. Aberaeron South beach is a lovely long and sandy beach, whilst Aberaeron North beach is a beautiful beach covered in small rocks.
Just a short drive from Aberaeron, you can find the wonderful seaside town of New Quay. Explore the picturesque town and wander the golden sandy beaches and sheltered harbour. You can take wonderful boat trips from New Quay’s harbour to explore Cardigan Bay’s marine ecology. Dolphins, porpoises, Atlantic grey seals and numerous bird species are often spotted in Cardigan Bay, and a boat trip is a perfect way of seeing these wonderful animals in the wild.
