No 3 Dolheulog is a unique character cottage located in the seaside town of Aberaeron. The charming cottage has many original features such as character beams, doors and the fireplace, however, it is also decorated in a modern fashion. Relax outside in the peaceful garden after a day exploring Cardigan Bay. From the doorstep, it is only a short walk along the river into the town of Aberaeron.
The town is home to a wide array of lovely independent shops, restaurants, beaches and a picturesque harbour. Separated by the harbour, Aberaeron has two public beaches: Aberaeron North and Aberaeron South. Aberaeron South beach is a lovely long and sandy beach whilst Aberaeron North beach is a beautiful beach covered in small rocks. You can take wonderful boat trips from Aberaeron’s harbour. Dolphins, porpoises, Atlantic grey seals and numerous bird species are often spotted in Cardigan Bay and a boat trip is a perfect way of seeing these wonderful animals in the wild.
The picturesque seaside town of New Quay is only a short drive from the cottage. New Quay’s beaches extend in a golden arc around the bay and are ideal for relaxing and strolling by the sea. Enjoy a walk along the front to the end of the Quay and watch the boats sail by.
