Laugharne boasts a captivating history. It is home to Laugharne Castle, which dates back to the early 12th Century and holds a Royal Charter that grants the town its own Corporation. Nearby, Pendine’s magnificent 7-mile-long flat sandy beach provides ample space for playing with your pooch and is a wonderful location for playing with the ball. The beach is also renowned for hosting the World Land Speed record in 1928 when Englishman Malcolm Campbell and Welshman Parry Thomas competed at speeds exceeding 170 miles per hour.
