What You Need to Know About Fishing on the Teifi River

Rod Licenses and Costs

To fish at Dolhaidd Isaf, guests will need a valid rod license, which can be easily purchased at any Post Office in England or Wales, or online at www.environment-agency.gov.uk/rodlicence.

Fishing rates are as follows:

  • April 1st – June 30th: £50 per week or £10 per day per rod
  • July 1st – October 17th: £75 per week or £15 per day per rod

    Young persons in full-time education can fish free of charge!

Fishing Seasons

  • Brown Trout: April 1st – September 30th
  • Salmon & Sea Trout: April 1st – October 17th
  • Bait Fishing (worm only): May 1st – October 7th
  • Salmon Catch and Release: All Salmon caught before June 16th must be returned unharmed.
