Maenayron is situated in the heart of the market town of Cardigan. Although it is tucked away in a quiet street, it is only a few minutes walk away from the thriving high street. Full of independent cafés, restaurants, boutiques and gift shops, the town has something for everyone. From pizza on the river to cocktails on the terrace, there’s plenty to see and do. There is an arts centre with cinema, amazing galleries, artisan bakeries, river trips and also a 900-year-old medieval castle which has many events and activities.
Cardigan is a popular holiday destination close to award-winning beaches and stunning coastal views with many pretty coastal villages such as Mwnt, Tresaith, and St Dogmaels nearby. Take a trip to some stunning beaches, Poppit, Aberporth or Tresaith, which are popular with families and dog walkers alike.
Cardigan boasts many attractions within easy reach. If you love nature, the Welsh Wildlife Centre, run by the Wildlife Trust, is a great place to visit – you can even have some amazing cake in their cafe !. You can look out for seals and dolphins in Cardigan Bay or walk the Wales Coastal Path. The area is rich in history but modern in outlook with so much to see and so.
