Llywernog Silver Lead Mine is an authentic 18th century silver mine which is now a fascinating and educational family adventure and a Prince of Wales award-winning museum. You can explore the Miners Trail, self-guide footpath around the old workings of the 7 acre mine site, or go deep underground on the 45 minute caplamp tour. Try your hand at working the mine minerals for silver and gems in the panning shed. Whatever you find is yours to keep! There is a giftshop and a tearoom offering light refreshments - or for sunny days there is a great picnic site.
