The cottage has an open plan kitchen with dining area, separate sitting room with woodburning stove, TV with Freeview channels, DVD player, music system . The property has central heating, oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, highchair and garden furniture. Picturesque walks lead from your door along the Solva river to Middle Mill with its original woollen mill, via woodland packed with wildlife. Two superb blue flag beaches are within a ten minute drive as is the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with its 180 miles of stunning shoreline. The path takes you throughout some of the most ruggedly picturesque scenery in the world. The towering cliffs and tranquil offshore islands, like monastic Caldey Island or the uninhabited islands of Skokholm or Skomer, are regular home to colonies of many different species of birds, rare flowers and wildlife. The contrasts of Pembrokeshire are reflected in the wide range of attractions that are on offer. From the traditional seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, to the more peaceful area of St Davids, you will find a range of facilities and activities within a beautiful setting. The magnificent Cathedral at St Davids has dominated the landscape since the 12th Century and has been a popular pilgrimage throughout the middle ages and indeed remains to this day, receiving thousands of visitors every year. During May and June it is host to a feast of classical music at the Cathedral Festival. Why not visit Ramsey Island on a guided voyage or try your hand at sea kayaking or windsurfing. Watch the sheepdogs being trained for farmwork, go dolphin watching, or visit the Oceanarium. Oakwood, voted one of the top ten amusement parks in Britain, is within a half-hour's drive. You can always visit one of the bustling county towns of Haverfordwest or Pembroke where markets, art galleries, castles and museums are to be found in abundance. Or just relax over a drink in one of the numerous country pubs or have a meal in one of the top-class restaurants in Solva or St Davids. The beauty of Pembrokeshire is no way diminished by seasonal change. It is as equally beautiful during sunny summer days, where one can relax on one of the many beaches, as it is on wild winter days where conditions are perfect for a brisk walk and home to a roaring log fire. However you chose to spend your holiday, you will find yourself returning home relaxed and invigorated with memories of the most breathtaking scenery you'll ever experience.
