The Shack 'Glyn Helyg' is a charming corrugated tin house dating from the early 20th century. It is a single storey house which has recently been refurbished. The house is in a rural setting on the outskirts of the village of Clarbeston Road. It is a haven of tranquility, the perfect place to unwind, with not even a television to disturb the peace. The Shack sits in a large sunny, secluded garden with uninterrupted views to the Preseli Hills.

The towns of Haverfordwest and Narberth are nearby, offering a cinema, new leisure centre and plenty of interesting shops and cafes. The stunning Pembrokeshire coastline with its beautiful beaches, many perfect for swimming, surfing and boat trips, is within easy reach. Breathtaking walking country is on the doorstep with the Pembrokeshire National Park and the renowned coastal path within easy reach. The Llys y Fran Country Park close by offers fishing, cycling, walking and sailing. The new holiday park, Bluestone, offers day tickets to its pool complex.

The Shack sleeps 4 in two ground floor bedrooms: one double bedroom and one twin room. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, and lavatory. The open plan living area comprises the dining room with a large table seating six and a dresser; the kitchen, equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, and fridge; and the sitting room with comfortable futon sofa, armchairs and woodburning stove. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels. There is off road parking. Smoking is not permitted at the property. Sorry no pets.

Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking; the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
