Pine Cottage (sleeps 6) is a cosy, recently renovated stone cottage, full of character. With stunning sea views and just an eight minute walk to the beach it is an ideal getaway for families and couples. Pine Cottage is one of 10 traditionally built stone cottages that are nestled in a wooded valley above the picturesque fishing village of Little Haven. It has stunning views over St Bride’s Bay and easy access to the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Pine Cottage was extensively renovated and modernised in late 2008 and boasts air source central heating providing an environmentally friendly heat source for the cottage. It is luxuriously furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It is just an 8 minute woodland walk into the village of Little Haven, beautiful beaches and the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path. Little Haven is a charming village and has three welcoming pubs, a post office/tea room, a pottery/craft shop/workshop and galleries which display and sell local artists’ work. Little Haven also boasts a slip-way, with sailing playing an important part in village life. The next village of Broad Haven provides water sport enthusiasts with plenty to choose from including surfing, windsurfing, kite boarding, and sea kayaking. Pine Cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms: two on the ground floor and one in the galleried ‘Crog loft’ above the sitting room. The large ground floor double bedroom has stunning views over St Brides’ Bay with lovely French doors opening onto a grassy area in front of the cottage. One large twin bedroom is on the ground floor leading off the sitting room and the other twin in the ‘Crog loft’ is accessed via the stairs from the sitting room and has limited headroom. Exposed beams are a feature of the vaulted ceiling in the sitting room providing a light and airy feel. The sitting room is well equipped with TV, DVD player, Stereo and CD system, a selection of books and DVDs. There is a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, tumble dryer, washing machine, large fridge/freezer and an extensive range of cooking utensils. The newly refurbished bathroom is on the ground floor with toilet, wash basin, bath and over-the-bath power shower. A large conservatory at the back acts as a perfect sun room/dining room and has a dining table for 6 people; it is an ideal place for a cosy supper for 2 or Christmas lunch for 6. The conservatory opens out onto a paved area and an enclosed garden with seating and barbeque which backs onto open fields. The cottage has one designated parking space in front of the property, with additional parking available adjacent to the property. A travel cot, high chair, stair gates and changing mat are all available for families with young children. Prices include electricity and bed linen but guests are required to bring their own towels. Pets are welcomed at an additional cost of £15/dog/week. A Fuel supplement of £15/week is added from October to April. Strictly no smoking is allowed in the cottage.
