Pencraig Farm is situated in an idyllic rural location on the edge of Llangoedmor in the Teifi valley, one mile east of Cardigan and about three miles from the beach at Poppit Sands. The cottages and caravan are set back from the road down a private lane, nestled in a quiet location surrounded by fields and wonderful countryside. The farm has 48 acres with superb panoramic views and is near to the sandy beaches of Mwnt, Tresaith and Penbryn. The busy market town of Cardigan has most of the facilities you will need including shops, restaurants, a swimming pool and an excellent cinema/theatre. A little further north on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast there are the picturesque seaside villages of Aberporth, Llangrannog and New Quay. Pencraig Farm is close to the borders of Pembrokeshire with the Preseli Hills near and St. Davids, Tenby and the south coast within an hours’ scenic drive. Local attractions include fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi, Cenarth Falls, Castell Henllys the reconstructed Iron Age hillfort and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran. Pencraig Farm has the farmhouse and four holiday cottages available for visitors. Cowslip is a detached stone cottage at Pencraig Farm sleeping six. The cottage has a one double and one twin attic bedroom, each with a very small ensuite toilet and in-bedroom shower cubicle. A room on the ground floor has twin bunks. Also on the ground floor is a family bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin, toilet, and bidet. The fitted kitchen has an electric hob and oven, washing machine, dish washer, fridge/freezer, microwave and CD / radio. There is a separate dining room. The comfortable sitting room has TV, DVD and solid fuel stove which runs the central heating (first two bags of fuel included). Outside there is a small rear yard with garden furniture (and 48 acres to roam in!). Sorry no pets or smoking. Electricity is included. Bed linen is provided but guests are asked to provide their own towels, tea towels, etc. Cot and highchair available on request. There is ample parking. DIY or cooked breakfasts available by prior arrangement with the owner. Pencraig Farm is an idyllic holiday venue, close to the coast in the heart of peaceful West Wales. In addition a refundable deposit of £50 cash on arrival is required per booking, returned in full subject to there being no breakages or damage to the property. Please pay the deposit within 7 days.
