Blodfa is a traditional Welsh cottage, in a rural location; WITH SEA-VIEWS from the bathroom and garden. The cottage sleeps five and is situated in the quiet hamlet of Blaencelyn, less than two miles from Cardigan Bay. The nearest sandy sea-side village of Llangrannog is only 2½ miles, and has character sea-front pubs and family friendly cafés. Cwmtydu, a picturesque Cardiganshire cove, where sitings of seals and dolphins are a regular occurrence, is nearer and can be reached by one of many scenic walks through wooded valleys. New Quay a local fishing village is within 5 miles and has a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and sandy beaches. There are regular fishing and sight seeing boat trips around the bay where seals and dolphins are often sighted. To the south there are rocky headlands and sandy bays and secret coves of Penbryn, Tresaith, Aberporth, and Mwnt. The market town of Cardigan and the Preseli Hills are within easy reach. To the north is the Regency harbour town of Aberaeron and Aberyswyth ,the University town and seaside resort with its castle, museums, Art Centre, pubs, restaurants, funicular railway and Camera Obscura.

Blodfa sleeps 5 in three bedrooms. On the first floor there is a single room with access to a twin bedded room. On this floor the spacious bathroom has a rolled top-bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. At the top of the stairs there is a comfortable lounge area with TV, Freeview and DVD. The double bedroom, with king-size brass bed is on the ground floor. The open plan lounge /dining area has a Victorian open fire and TV, Freeview and video. The large well equipped kitchen has a Belfast sink, electric oven, six ring gas ring hob, fridge with icebox, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is a tumble drier together with a toilet and hand basin in an outside utility room. All rooms have TV points. A high chair and a travel cot are also available.

The cottage has full oil central heating and all fuel and power together with linen including towels (not beach towels) are included. Up to two pets are welcome but smoking is not allowed in the cottage. Outside there is a large secluded lawned garden featuring an ornamental fish pond (child-proof pond cover provided) with garden furniture and barbeque facilities. The area is ideal for relaxing. Off road parking for 2/3 cars.
