9 Innisfree is a stones throw away from the QUIET SANDY BEACH of LLANSTEFFAN, set in well kept gardens, with the use of a heated swimming pool (May-Sept). Situated on a small purpose built complex, this comfortable, end mews, modern cottage, sleeps four.

The quiet village of Llansteffan ('The Church of Stephen') is nested between two lush green hills, on the pilgrims way and the sandy shore of the river Towy, overlooked by the magnificent ruin of the Norman castle, set upon the wooded hill. Complete with a post office, village store, two pubs and a quality restaurant, there is also a beach front a café serving cream teas, along with a locally renowned fish & chip vendor, there is hardly the need to stray far from this idyllic spot and the coastal walks that surround it. Spectacular views stretch over the water to Ferryside & the Gower Peninsular and from the cliff top walk, Laugharne and the Taf Valley can be the sight of some breath taking sunsets. Other activities that can be enjoyed whilst in Llansteffan are Sea Fishing, Tennis(Reasonable local fee payable) along with sailing, bird watching, drawing & painting. Within 7 miles Golf and Pony Trekking can be found, whilst the market town of Carmarthen is just 8 miles away, with an array of shops, restaurants, pubs and a leisure centre. Also within easy reach are other family activities; Working farms, National Botanical Garden of Wales, numerous Castles, Steam Railway, the Pembrokeshire Coast and Oakwood - a Theme park, which provides plenty of thrills.

The cottage has an open plan Living/Kitchen area with double glazed, patio doors that lead out on a patio area, complete with table and chairs, communal landscaped garden and heated swimming pool. The Kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, iron/board along with seated eating area. dryer. The Lounge section, has a three piece suite, TV with digital freeview and DVD player, so you may wish to bring some DVDs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms which comfortably sleeps four, the twin bedded room has views over the open park area and the village tennis court . Whilst the second has a double bed, both have fitted wardrobes, bedside tables/lamps and dressing tables. The Bathroom has a toilet, wash hand basin and electric shower unit. Heating is by way of electric panel and storage heaters whilst in the lounge there is an additional electric fire. A coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer can be found within the complex

An area for parking can be found outside the main front door. Two playgrounds are located within walking distance and directly opposite the property is a large grassed area for recreational sports.

All bed linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival, a bath mat, dish cloth/scourer and tea towels are also supplied, along with inital toilet/kitchen roll and washing up liquid. Towels are not included but can be provided at an additional cost. Electricity is supplied at cost via £1 coin meter & heating is inclusive during 1st October & 30th April. Sorry no pets are allowed and there is a strict non smoking policy within the cottage. We do not accept all male/female parties under the age of 25. Bookings are taken for Friday to Friday and are available for arrivals after 4pm, the property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. An access statement is available on request.
